Who we are and what we do
Lumenwbeta is a local business registered and operating in Eldoret, Kenya. We provide appointment-based consultations, locally sourced products, and service engagements for individuals and small to medium enterprises across Uasin Gishu County. Our work is practical and specific: clients come to us with a defined need, and we address that need through a documented process that begins with listening and ends with a written outcome. We opened in 2018 with a team of four and have grown steadily to a staff of twelve, all of whom are based in Eldoret or the immediate surrounding area. That local grounding is deliberate — we believe a business that serves a community must be embedded in it, not parachuted in. Our offices on Uganda Road reflect the same philosophy: a teal-modern, open-plan space designed to be welcoming and functional rather than impressive or intimidating. Clients describe consultations here as unusually direct — we say what we can and cannot do, we quote accurately, and we follow through.
How we work and where we draw the line
Our operating model is built around three principles: clear scope, honest pricing, and personal accountability. Every engagement begins with a written brief agreed by both parties. We do not start work until scope is confirmed, because misaligned expectations cause more damage than a delayed start. Pricing is quoted in Kenyan Shillings, inclusive of all charges, before any commitment is made. No invoice has ever been higher than its original quote. Personal accountability means each client has a named contact — a real person who can be reached by phone during business hours and who remains responsible for your file from intake to close. We have completed over 1,200 engagements since 2018. Roughly 60 percent of our clients are repeat clients, which we consider the most honest measure of whether a service business is doing its job. We do not operate as a general agency: we do not serve clients outside Uasin Gishu County, and we do not take on engagements that fall outside our defined service categories. When a request is outside our scope, we say so directly and, where possible, refer the client to someone better placed to help. That honesty about limits is part of how trust is built — and kept.
